Prep soccer — Curtis’ hat trick leads West Valley to fifth straight win

YAKIMA — Junior Haley Curtis scored three goals and assisted on a fourth as West Valley extended its win streak to five matches with a 7-0 victory over Kennewick in CBBN play Tuesday at Cottonwood Field.

Loegan Silliman and Lee Hanses had two assists each for West Valley, which improved to 7-3 in league and travels to Hanford on Saturday.

EASTMONT 2, EISENHOWER 1 (SO): At Marquette, the Wildcats prevailed in the shootout, 4-3, ending Eisenhower’s five-game win streak.

Ike’s Bianca Flores scored in the 50th minute to tie the match in regulation at 1-1.
