I am Arianna's foster Grandparent for her here at George Fox University and this is a great article about her and her sister. She is the same very special girl she was in high school and I have so enjoyed getting to know her and her family in the last four years. She is a wonderful person and basketball player.

I spotted a wolf on the West Fork of the Teanaway about 20 years ago. I was with my young boys at the time...the wolf watched us briefly and then left. They have been back in the valley for a long time. This was before F&W announced wolves were back and then started having them fitted for radio collars.
I don't feel the need to reimburse Mr. Martinez' dogs. His sheep graze on public land, not private. Take your chances. In reality, cattlemen will do what they must do to protect livestock on private property. In essence, the problem takes care of itself. Finally, it is doubtful that livestock will be bothered by the Teanaway wolves unless outside agencies bring their cattle or sheep to graze there. And the Teanaway has been overgrazed for years. Walk up the North Fork of the river and you will see what I'm talking about. Go to it, wolves.

It depends on the team, the coaching style and the caliber of opposition. Some teams are conducive to an up-tempo style, others aren't, and good coaches adapt. And sometimes a specific team is so much better and deep than some of its competition that it hits 100 or more points on multiple occasions.
Also, players today are more inclined to take a pull-up three, of which they make maybe 35 percent, instead of taking the ball all the way to the basket for a two. The 3-pointer is a more consistently valuable half-court offensive weapon than it is in the open court.

Why is it that the teams of today can't score the points of the teams of the 80's BEFORE the 3 point shot? One of Pat's teams averaged in the 80's and had 5 or 6 games with over 100 points.

Hmmmm...it seems that Mr. Ravet did play last week, and I believe that Ellensburg lost to Ephrata. That's not the young man's fault, obviously, given his recent bout with illness and the sprained ankle the night before. My point in this to Mr. Anderson is that there is way too many people going on website and chat rooms declaring that theirs is the greatest team since they hung the first peachbasket. The only way to prove the best is to see who's holding the golden trophies at the end of the season.

Ellensburg is by far the best out there. when healthy They blow every one off the court. When star player is out is the only time they lost.

Recruiting class again appears to be excellent. This team still needs to find a quality offensive coordinator to re establish itself as a contender
